Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will stay highly visible, respond to concerns, and provide clear communication and customer service while supporting a professional environment. This post requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and offers a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors at a government location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, passes, and/or visitor logs in accordance with site requirements, escalating concerns through the established chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, dispatch coordination, and timely notifications to site representatives and/or public responders as directed.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations using required reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess Level III Armed Certification Texas Only.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred..
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
