Overview

The Deal Enablement Specialist supports the Commercial Services team in driving revenue and growth by enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable deal processes. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end commercial process from quote to close, maintaining CRM and CLM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Ironclad), tracking KPIs, improving workflows, and supporting sales enablement with tools and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves in a Leadership role to design and implement scalable processes and workflows to improve deal velocity, contract quality, and reporting efficiency.

  • Facilitate business needs by partnering with the CRM Technology and Business Optimization Team to leverage technology and automation for improved user experience and reduced cycle times.

  • Serve as a liaison between commercial, pricing, legal, and operations teams to streamline contract/deal processes and ensure policy compliance.

  • Provide direction to commercial analytics to develop and maintaining KPIs, dashboards, and insights to monitor deal velocity, trends, and operational bottlenecks.

  • Ensure all deals adhere to internal policies, pricing guidelines, and regulatory requirements by inputting and maintaining all system- required fields in Salesforce and Ironclad through the deal lifecycle.

  • Manage contract redlining approval workflows and self- drafting contracts developed by legal. Facilitate signature routing processes in Ironclad and Docusign.

  • Systemically manage a robust portfolio of deals, ensuring alignment across the enterprise, including escalating needs, refining requirements, facilitating meetings, and prioritizing resources.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and SME for CLM and CRM needs related to contracting and deal enablement.

  • Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives in commercial operations, process optimization, and change management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in contract, deal, or commercial operations, preferably in healthcare or healthcare technology.

  • Experience with process improvement and operational strategy.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving; ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.

  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency with CLM tools (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
