Electrical Engineer Intern

Job Purpose

The Electrical Engineer Intern at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and a manufacturer of advanced power solutions, assist Electrical Engineer on any designated projects or processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and assemble product prototype units.
  • Build and assemble test fixtures.
  • Perform test procedures to validate new designs.
  • Perform test procedures to validate new software versions.
  • Troubleshoot new designs under supervision.
  • Create or modify test procedures.
  • Design parts of a battery or charger product.
  • Assist in the resolution of production issues.
  • Perform feasibility study of new design approaches.
Qualifications
  • Completed 3 years of study towards a bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering bachelor's degree
  • Previous internship experience in a project team environment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
