Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is now hiring a Business Support Coordinator to join our team at our Koch Methanol St. James facility in St. James, Louisiana! As a key coordinator for site administrative business needs and activities, this role will go well above a traditional administrative role as you will help our site advance key goals and objectives, both internal and external facing.


Our Team

This role will report to the EHSS Leader but will support the full leadership team at the site. Koch Methanol, part of Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, operates a world-class methanol production facility in St. James, Louisiana. Our team is focused on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement to produce methanol in the most efficient and responsible way.

What You Will Do

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including events, wellness programs, and community outreach
  • Develop professional relationships across Koch Industries to facilitate knowledge sharing, coordination, and collaboration
  • Coordinate onboarding and training activities in partnership with HR, Operations, and EHS, as well as assisting with early career outreach initiatives
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to site leadership, including meeting coordination and visitor logistics
  • Manage communication channels and SharePoint resources to ensure accurate, timely information sharing
  • Utilize site systems to maintain accurate data and generate reports that support informed decision-making; Identifying opportunities for efficiency in the systems
  • Support compliance documentation and certification tracking, including report mailing, submission processes, and PO box management

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience providing administrative support to multiple leaders or cross-functional teams; OR degree and/or experience in Education, Marketing, and/or Communications/Branding
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) with ability to create and edit presentations, spreadsheets, and prepare site-wide communications

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience coordinating onboarding and training activities in partnership with HR or Operations teams
  • Experience coordinating projects or managing events, including planning, logistics, cost management, and execution
  • Experience in systems such as Sharepoint, travel / expense tools & scheduling platforms
