NC State Forestry Club Assistant Coach

The NC State Forestry Club has a need for a responsible and experienced assistant coach, who is well-versed in the technical events needed to compete in timbersports competitions. They will coach undergraduate students who are new to events such as cross-cut saw, underhand chop, and pole fell. They will attend intercollegiate competitions with the team and assist with logistics and driving.

Other relevant duties or responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

High school degree and 4 years of experience in timbersports (either participating or coaching).

Ability to get certified to drive university vehicles within 2 weeks of hiring date.

Safety training and competition experience in underhand chop, cross-cut saw, pole fell, axe and knife throwing, and archery.

Valid NC Driver's license.
