About our group:

The Global Learning, Development, and Performance (LD&P) Team plays a critical role in building the skills, capabilities, and leadership pipeline of Seagate's workforce. We design and deliver learning experiences that support individual growth, team effectiveness, and enterprise priorities - using a mix of modern learning practices, digital tools, and data-driven insights to continuously improve how people learn.

About the role - you will:

  • Support the Learning & Development team in the design, development, and delivery of learning experiences (virtual, in-person, and digital).
  • Assist with reviewing, updating, and enhancing learning programs to align with evolving business needs and learner feedback.
  • Help evaluate learning effectiveness using qualitative feedback, data, and emerging tools (including AI-enabled insights where appropriate).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning content, platforms, and learner experiences.
  • Participate in regional and global learning projects as needed.
  • Support efforts to understand how learning is applied on the job and transferred into day-to-day performance.
  • Assist the team in identifying learning needs across the organization through data analysis, stakeholder input, and research.
  • Gain hands-on experience with project management, data analysis, content organization, communication drafting, and basic visual or digital design.
  • Explore and experiment with modern learning technologies, including AI-powered tools that support content creation, personalization, or learning insights.

About you:

  • Interested in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development, with curiosity to explore different parts of the business.
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and try new approaches, including emerging technologies and tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player who is organized, resourceful, and proactive.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable, with strong follow-through.

Your experience includes:

  • Interest in Learning and Development processes with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Working with Microsoft applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Courses or project experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Business Analytics, Communication, Design, or related areas are a plus!
  • Current student in a Bachelor's or Master's program and returning to classes in Fall 2026.

Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate. The estimated base wage range for this position is $22.00-29.50/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan. Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave. The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
