Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., is seeking an experienced Building Inspectorwith Massachusetts State Certification and ICC certification(s)to perform professional field inspections within the Boston Metro and Cape Cod Region. The Inspector shall have professional integrity, clear oral and written communicationwith municipal officials, contractors, and design professionals, and knowledgeable with the Massachusetts Codes and Standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct building inspections for compliance with the Massachusetts Building Code.
- Inspect commercial and residential projects at various stages of construction.
- Verify approved plans, permits, and inspection documentation.
- Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Massachusetts State Certification(Building Inspector).
- ICC Building Inspector Certification(s).
- Experience in municipal or third-party inspection services.
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts amendments and field applications.
- Professional demeanor and sound judgment in the field.
- Multiple ICC certifications preferred (e.g., Commercial, Residential, Accessibility).
- Experience with commercial or coastal construction preferred.
