Precise Systems seeks a highly self-motivated, successful senior level Accountant/Accounting manager to assist with corporate compliance, general ledger review, month-end close and financial statement preparations in a fast-paced government contracting environment. This position is hands-on position requiring a thorough understanding of Costpoint, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and knowledge of the FA.

Duties:



  • Assist with closing entries for both parent and subsidiary companies
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Assist with corporate compliance - specifically working to ensure all reports are filed with both state and local governments
  • Special accounting projects as assigned


Required Experience:



  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience with at least some supervisory or management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of accounting functions: billing, receivables and payables
  • Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs and priorities of a growing business.
  • Positive, customer-service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, inspire teamwork, and recommend solutions
  • Experience with Costpoint is required


Required Education:



  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business
