Vaco is recruiting for a SR Staff Accountant. This position requires a construction background. This role is a direct hire located near the Blue Ash, OH area. Starting salary: $80-$90K Responsibilities and Duties: Perform various reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliation, and investigate discrepancies. Maintains and sets up vendors. * Processes internal company invoicing. Assists with Accounts Receivable and Account Payable functions. Participates in various month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion. Assists with the reviewing of weekly Payroll. Processes daily receipts All other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience:* oMinimum 5 years' experience in contracting business or accounting. o3+ years of senior level accounting experience. oFull knowledge of GAAP. Job Skills: * Detail oriented. * Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Good analytical skills Strong organizational skills. Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality. Education: * Minimum of an associate degree in business, Accounting, or equivalent.
