*About the Role* We are seeking an empathetic, customerfocused *Hearing Care Advisor* to join our growing contact center team. In this role, you will support our newest client, by assisting insurance members with benefit navigation, coverage clarification, and access to hearing care services. You will handle approximately *60 calls per day*, prioritizing member experience over speed. Many callers will be transitioning from previous benefits and will rely on you to help them understand their new coverage. Additional call types include verifying network status, locating clinics/audiologists, and transferring eligible callers to the scheduling team for appointment booking.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive environment, enjoys helping people, and is passionate about improving access to hearing care. *Key Responsibilities* * Support insurance members by verifying benefits, explaining coverage, and answering hearing care-related questions. * Handle around *60 inbound calls per day*, delivering patient, empathetic, highquality service. * Assist members in finding innetwork clinics and audiologists; transfer calls to the inbound scheduling team when appropriate. * Provide clear and accurate information regarding insurance processes, clinic options, and hearing services. * Maintain detailed and accurate call documentation using Starkey systems. * Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Starkey's commitment to exceptional member care. *Required Qualifications* * *High school diploma or GED* (verified for compliance). * *2+ years of customer service experience*, ideally showing growth/progression * *2+ years of call center experience*, preferably within healthcare or insurance. * Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain benefits and next steps clearly. * Compassionate, patientfocused mindset with strong problemsolving ability. *Why You'll Love Working Here* * A "big company, small feel" environment with more than 5,000 employees worldwide. * Missiondriven culture centered on helping people hear their very best. * Supportive, collaborative team environment. *Work Environment* * *Onsite * * *Contact center hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM* * *Available shifts:* * *8:30 AM - 5:00 PM* * *9:30 AM - 6:00 PM* * *Flexible shift* between *7:00 AM - 7:00 PM* (assigned after training) *Training* * *4-6 weeks* of structured training * Includes handson shadowing and gradual call readiness * Shift assignment occurs after training is successfully completed *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $21.63/hr.
