Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and shoppers, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail store environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, suspected shoplifting, and medical situations, and/or coordinating with store management and public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, entrances, exits, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using assigned tools and systems, including observing CCTV where applicable, completing incident reports, and communicating updates to supervisors and location leadership.
• Control access to restricted areas, support opening and closing procedures, and assist with crowd and line management during peak shopping periods and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
