The Job Responsibilities

We are hiring a Manager Demand Planning to work on-site at our Andover, MA location.



The Manager Demand Planning is a member of the Business Unit Patient Monitoring Supply Chain Operations organization. They have the global responsibility for all aspects of Demand Management through the development and maintenance of a 12 to 24 month rolling forecast based on the monthly Sales & Operations Planning Process.



Main Responsibilities:



  • Drives the Sales & Operations and Planning Process for the Business Unit Patient Monitoring and Telford Thermoregulation with the global cross functional stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness, quality and continuous improvement of the S&OP process in order to develop and maintain an optimized Production Plan that supports the Business Unit's sales / revenue plan, customer delivery times, inventory targets, supply risk and demand flexibility.
  • Drives Order Management team to ensure timely shipment of customer orders and serves as a point of escalation to the business in such matters.
  • Manages tasks and performance of employees; sets and tracks objectives, assesses performance on a regular basis, provides motivation and creates effective development and training plans. Responsible for development of KPIs to enhance performance. Emphasizes training to assure staff's ability to perform all tasks required and their understanding of commercial and regulatory requirements.
  • As an output of the monthly Sales & Operations Planning meeting, using the established planning bills of material for configured products, maintains the Production Plan in SAP for the 12 to 24 month planning horizon with the key objectives of achieving a high level of forecast accuracy, achieving the market required demand flexibility, minimizing demand variation, optimizing working capital investment, and maximizing customer delivery capability and reliability.
  • Analyses historical and future demand patterns and maintains the planning bill of material components (product features and options) for configured products and maintains the planning percentages for each component to ensure that the MRP demand and supply of lower level material is aligned with the top level product demand to achieve the desired levels of customer delivery capability and reliability. Responsible for accountability of the Order Management team actions that need to be taken for urgent part shortage situations to resolve issues and to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • As a Microsoft Power BI key user and Subject Matter Expert, develops, maintains and posts timely Supply Chain Management KPI reports. Supports the supply chain management team to improve data transparency and data analytical capabilities by leveraging on the Power BI to effectively and efficiently to achieve continuous performance improvement. Ensures accurate and timely performance reporting to management is published at the specified intervals. Advise reasons behind any gaps in delivery performance
  • Effectively plan the Phase-In / Phase-Out of products and product changes to ensure new product material availability to support the production ramp up, to ensure that excess/obsolete material is minimized during the production ramp down phase and to ensure material availability to support spare parts through the end of service.
  • Works hand in hand with MRP Buyer / Planners and Production Controllers to communicate significant demand changes and provides prompt feedback and corrective action when demand questions and issues arise.
  • Leads in various Supply Chain continuous improvement projects both locally and globally.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7+ years' experience in Business Management, Supply Chain Planning, Production Control, Master Production Scheduling and/or Demand Planning
  • Good understanding of supply chain concepts and application
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft BI
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills



Compensation:


The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $122,200 - $146,600. We note that the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. This position is eligible for the following additional compensation: annual bonus.
