| Position Highlights |
This position will report to the Executive Director of University Compliance and will be responsible for institution-level comprehensive compliance training, education, and safety promotion. Focus areas will include policies pursuant to discrimination and harassment, youth protection, and ethics and integrity. This position will further compliance requirements, ensuring that program components are in alignment with federal and state law and that timelines and monitoring/reporting needs are met. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ongoing institutional compliance policies, procedures, and related training for students, employees, and campus affiliates delivered via the university's learning management system.
- Independently design and develop trainings and awareness campaigns and respond to LMS training issues for the University Compliance Office.
- Utilize research including collaboration with subject-matter experts, evaluation of federal, state, and municipal regulations, and feedback gathered by convening focus-groups and working groups and other methods of gathering constituent input.
- Lead and enhance current campus outreach programs and communication strategies to disseminate and support the implementation of university's policies, practices, and programs, increasing visibility and enhancing knowledge.
- Collaborate with senior management to integrate compliance requirements into strategic planning as it relates to campus training and delivery.
- Maintain compliance documentation and make recommendations regarding educational program development.
- Work collaboratively with campus partners including members of the Campus Life area, Human Resources, Arizona Athletics, student groups, law enforcement, and administrators to sustain an effective prevention and compliance program, serving as a program liaison.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Working knowledge of the principles of effective compliance programs and relevant laws and regulations focused ondiscrimination and harassment, youth protection, safety, andethics and integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to act independently, take initiative, exercise soundjudgment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple taskssimultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to a changing regulatory and legal landscape.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationshipswith student and professional staff, colleagues, and partnersacross the organization.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of assignments.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience.
- 5 years of relevant work experience.

- Experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS), training technologies, and educational programs.
- Experience working in instructional design and training development and delivery.

| Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report |
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
