Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Metric and Training Lead to support our Huntsville, AL location.

We are seeking a full-time on-site software metrics and training load interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems frameworks managing and improving metrics and training. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Duties Include:

    Managing and analyzing metrics and indicators to support decision making and improvements
  • Coordinating and tracking program training, ensuring all required training is completed on time, and aiding training development and refinement
  • Developing and maintaining metrics and indicator to support program goals and objectives
  • Collecting and analyzing data to support metrics and indicators
  • Producing regular reports and analyses to to support program decision making based the customer-approved metrics plan
  • Identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions
  • Managing and maintaining metrics reporting tools
  • Collaborating with program stakeholders to ensure metrics and indicators are aligned with program goals and objectives
  • Developing and maintaining documentation of metrics and indicators including definitions, calculations, and reporting


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Metrics development, data analysis, and reporting, e.g., Tableau, Excel
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Program management principles and practices
  • Coordination of training on program tools and methodologies, development of curriculum, scheduling of workshops and webinars, and production of job-aid materials
  • Tracking training effectiveness by maintaining attendance logs and post-training surveys, and reporting completion rates and skill gaps
  • Agile metrics
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience; OR Master's degree with 3 years professional experience; or PhD with no experience

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in related field, e.g., engineering, software development
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Metrics and indicators in a program management context
  • Certification in a related field, e.g., Certified Analytics Professional
