Description

As an Electrical engineer, you will be working with Sales, Engineers and Managers from other departments to complete job orders and convey information to Management and Sales when required. You are required to complete job orders in a timely manner and give support to field service engineers as needed.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
* Ability to read and design a wide variety of electrically related schematics such as industrial solenoids, switches, relays and motor controls.
* Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics a plus.
* Possess basic programming skills with PLC logic using Mitsubishi, Rockwell, Siemens etc...
* Possessing HMI interface experience is a Plus.
* Experience using Microsoft products.
* Experience using AutoCAD.
* Technical ability to assemble options as needed for development, customer visit, etc.
* Ability to work with vendors and contractors to gather information.
* Provide documentation and support for post design work.
* Ensure projects are completed on time and according to schedule.
* Work proactively to promote teamwork.
* Additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

Education/Certification:
* Associate degree required, BSEE in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Experience:
* This is an entry level position however, previous employment, Co-op or Internship experience in electrical engineering is preferred.

Skills:
* Team player with great interpersonal skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
