Function: Operations Job Summary:The Production Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of site-wide ammonia production for Blue Point. This individual will play a key role in building and implementing site policy, as well as setting site culture. This position is also a member of the site leadership team providing oversight of daily ammonia production activities including safety, quality, cost management, employee development, and process optimization, while ensuring production and site-wide goals are met in a safe and environmentally sound manner. This person will also be supporting the Blue Point Project Team in their efforts to safely and successfully construct, commission and bring into operation a first of its kind, world class low carbon ammonia plant. Internal Controls: Establishes and implements processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements. Ensures that established processes/procedures are followed as designed. Works with internal controls department to identify deficiencies in existing processes/procedures, the need for new ones, and the extent to which such processes/procedures are being followed. Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary. Successful incumbents will have:
