Modernization Advance Planning Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, a program management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the program's Modernization Team. You'll work with key stakeholders to review program fielding requirements in support of modernizing the Navy submarine fleet with the latest C4I systems. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like SPIDER, RIPTIDE, NDE, and SMART and regular interactions with Acquisition Program Managers, Installation Managers, and members of the submarine community.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Navy programs

  • Experience taking detailed meeting notes and formatting or distributing meeting summaries to a broad stakeholder audience

  • Knowledge of PEO C4I, NAVWAR, FRLLD, NIWC, NAVSEA, or OPNAV organizations

  • Knowledge of Navy Modernization Processes (NMP) or PEO C4I or NAVWAR Installation Process

  • Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, work in multiple databases and systems simultaneously, and work with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Ability to think through dependencies and constraints

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply complex rules, processes, and technical information

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with DoD organizations

  • Experience with NAVWAR within the submarine community

  • Experience in logistics, scheduling, planning, or operations support and with basic data analysis or reporting

  • Experience onboarding into a complex system or program with a steep learning curve

  • Experience documenting processes, rulesets, or decision logic, including job aids, SOPs, and reference guides

  • Experience working in a rules-driven, highly regulated, or compliance-heavy environment and with process improvement or workflow optimization

  • Experience with configuration management, planning tools, or lifecycle tracking of technical products

  • Experience coordinating across multiple organizations or stakeholder groups and supporting leadership, clients, or cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of PEO C4I programs and system, SPAWAR PEO Integrated Database Environment Repository (SPIDER), C4I Advance Planning Suite (CAPS), Navy Database Environment (NDE), and SMART

  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
