This Position reports to:

Service Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Field Service team with full accountability of running the day-to-day field service activities and to exceed customer expectations. Each day, you will create, implement, and review field service operations strategies for designated area(s) based on the global service business strategy. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer focus, understanding sense of urgency, and care in your area of responsibility.

This position is Remote; however, candidates must reside in Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, or Washington DC areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and lead a highperforming technical field organization (approximately 30 employees) by driving skills development, certifications, mentoring, performance management, and effective resolution of complex technical issues.

  • Strengthen customer partnerships and collaborate crossfunctionally with sales, commercial, project management, and operations teams to align technical capabilities with business needs and drive successful project outcomes.

  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and compliance by ensuring adherence to HSE standards, ABB Way processes, riskreview requirements, and rigorous technical execution practices.

  • Oversee operational and technical excellence across field and workshop activities, including resource utilization, cost and productivity management, and accuracy of operational reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering or Business Field) and 8 years of relevant industry experience preferably in power delivery/power distribution or an Associate's degree in a technical field with 15 years of experience in power delivery/power distribution.

  • Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and a team-oriented mindset with proven planning and prioritization skills.

  • Strong customerfocused reputation with experience working in culturally diverse, global environments.

  • Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of reading engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Committed to maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 30% of time.

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $116,200 and $185,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
