About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to lead our efforts in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. This role supports our Enterprise functions, including Commercial, Finance, IT, SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning), Procurement, Legal and Manufacturing & Technology, as well as company-wide talent initiatives. The position is based at the Manchester, CT corporate office and reports directly to the Director, Talent on the Human Resources team.

We're seeking a Human Resources Business Partner who is passionate about collaborating with business leaders on organizational development and workforce planning, brings creativity to talent sourcing to support growing organization, partners closely with the Director of Talent on implementing companywide people initiatives, and drives continuous improvement in all aspects of our people strategy.

Location: Manchester, CT, travel ~5%

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's business strategy and the needs of Enterprise functions.
  • Provide guidance to Enterprise function leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent needs and change management.
  • Partner with hiring managers in Enterprise functions to support recruitment and onboarding activities including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and new hire onboarding.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and highperformance work environment through proactive employee relations, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution ensuring consistency, fairness, and alignment with business goals.
  • Counsel employees and supervisors on performance gaps, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns; support disciplinary actions and terminations in partnership with leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Talent to execute companywide initiatives such as engagement surveys, leadership training, succession planning, capability assessments, and company-wide culturebuilding programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and aerospaceindustryspecific regulations including EEOC, OFCCP, OSHA, and Human Rights requirements.
  • Support HR reporting, metrics, and data analysis to inform decisionmaking and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and enhance the employee experience through continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of HR generalist experience -OR- in lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of HR generalist experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in organizational design and development or talent development
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience using data for HR Metrics and subsequent action planning; including Microsoft excel proficiency.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Company.
  • Experience directly supporting leaders at multiple levels within the organization.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
  • Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
