Job Highlights

- Technicians perform work involving medium voltage power transmission
- Technicians routinely work onfield instrumentation, and PLCs
- PC knowledge and experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel) and e-mail systems such as Lotus Notes is necessary
- Primarilydaylight work schedules with overtime opportunities and occasional weekend work
- Will work both individually and within teams
- Technicians are entrusted to quote and purchase their own replacement parts
Experience / Skills
- Education- High school education or equivalent
- Work ExperienceFive years of experience in industry
- Special Skills- medium voltage, field instrumentation, PLC knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs
- Ability to work within a computerized maintenance management system (SAP)
- Ability to perform effective preventive maintenance
- Ability to read and understand equipment specification sheets and drawings (loop sheets, one line diagrams, P&IDs)
- Technicians must show initiative and be skilled communicators
