Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferered.
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience required.

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Concur, GP and Workday).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on assigned tasks.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to support the accounts payable function by serving as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for complex accounts payable tasks.


Earn 23.00-25.00/hr depending on experience



Hybrid Position: This opportunity is available for candidates residing in PA, NJ, and DE.


2 days onsite at our headquarters in Lafayette Hill, PA



Position Details:


The Accounts Payable Team Lead will take ownership of critical accounts payable processes, assist with escalations, and help ensure accuracy and efficiency across the function without direct supervisory responsibilities.


Other duties include:



  • Process high-volume invoices with accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with complex invoice issues, payment discrepancies, and vendor inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Tax and Accounting teams to resolve unmatched or disputed invoices.
  • Support weekly payment runs, ensuring proper approvals, coding, and adherence to payment schedules.
  • Monitor the AP inbox and assist in resolving urgent or escalated issues.
  • Maintain vendor records and assist with onboarding and changes in the vendor master file.
  • Assist with outstanding checks follow ups, check reissues and voids.
  • Assist with monthly AP accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.
  • Train new team members informally on processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
