Overview: The Desktop Support Technician provides frontline technical assistance to end users in a Windowsbased environment. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and basic network issues while delivering a high level of customer service and whiteglove support. Key Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot enduser issues within a Windows environment, including Windows 7 and Active Directory account support such as password resets, permissions management, and user access troubleshooting. Support provided in person, via email, and occasionally over the phone. * Resolve basic network connectivity problems including IP configuration issues, mapping network drives, verifying connectivity, and setting up PC peripherals such as printers, monitors, and docking stations. * Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, attentiveness, and a whiteglove support experience for all users. Preferred Skills & Experience: * Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 7 or later). * Familiarity with Active Directory for user management. * Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (IP address basics, drive mapping, connectivity checks). * Strong communication skills and the ability to support users with courtesy and clarity across multiple channels. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Greenwich, CT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr.
