About the Role We are hiring a Roll-Off Swing Driver who will primarily operate Roll-Off trucks, with the flexibility to support other truck types when needed. Your Primary Focus (Roll-Off) You will: Haul, deliver, and dump large open-top and compactor containers Secure and tarp containers safely Navigate commercial, industrial, residential, and construction sites Follow route sheets, dispatch instructions, and customer requirements Additional Equipment Coverage (As Needed) Experience in these equipment types is a PLUS: Front Load Side Load (automated or manual) Rear Load What You'll Do Day-to-Day Safely operate CDL vehicles across multiple lines of business Complete pre and posttrip inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment) Maintain a strong safety mindset on every route Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Adapt to different routes, customers, and equipment types Support the team with other operational duties as needed What We're Looking For Required Valid Class A or B CDL - NO automatic transmission restrictions Safe, clean driving record 1+ year of Roll-Off or local CDL route experience Ability to adapt quickly to different trucks and route demands Strong commitment to safety and customer service Preferred Experience with Front Load or Side Load trucks Experience operating at commercial or construction sites What You'll Receive We take care of our people - here's what you get as part of the Waste Connections family: Compensation & Benefits $22.00/hour starting pay Quarterly Safety Bonus for maintaining a strong safety record Overtime opportunities available 401(k) with company match Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Life Insurance ShortTerm & LongTerm Disability Employee Stock Purchase Plan Mental health and wellness programs Employee Relief Fund Emergency Travel Assistance Prepaid Legal Services Education & Family Support Scholarship opportunities for children of employees Why Waste Connections?
