THE ROLE:

Do you have a passion for SoC development and customer engagementfor leading game consolecustomers?We are looking for a Silicon Evaluation Lead, someone who will betechnically guidingSystemon aChip (SOC) development effortsfor productization of semi-custom SoCs and platforms.

THE PERSON:

Confidentleader able to self-navigate the technical challenges and executive communicationsrequiredto align teams throughout AMD's SoC development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountableto track and debugdesign issuesand customerobservations
  • Ownership of internal and external issue triage in coordination with cross functional stakeholders in aglobalorganization
  • Drivesend to end emulationoversight,including demandroll-up,and isprimaryadvocate to ensure program needsincluding design, platform emulationareachieved.
  • Identifiestechnology and feature risk areas. Accountable for development and execution of mitigation plans
  • Specifying technology metrics andcheckpointsfor pre and post Silicon status
  • Helps driveproduct bounding box attainment which requires managing executionin partnership withProduct Engineering, Firmware, Power, Performance and Thermal teams through planning,executionand debug to achieveoptimalSoC power/performance

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior, recent years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Familiarity with all Design areas and tools and validated understanding of design/technology interactions
  • SOC emulation experience and model development with a good understanding of computer organization/architecture
  • Experience in SoC Power management and Power/Performance attainment
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion
  • Proficient presentation,collaborationand communications skills arerequired
  • Strong Team playerworking with geographically distributed global teams andcustomers

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Architecture work experience
