The Opportunity The Embry-Riddle Department of Professional Programs (ProEd), on the Daytona Beach Campus, is seeking a full-time Support Specialist (SS). This position is in person and based on the Daytona Beach Campus in Florida. ProEd offers continuing education courses, developed and designed for professionals, via a mix of modalities including face-to-face courses, on-line asynchronous offerings, and virtual sessions. The SS will be responsible for performing most of the non-credit course programming and system maintenance needs within the department. The SS will also participate in the general administrative operations within ProEd. The SS will be involved in marketing efforts and will need to be proficient in understanding ProEd's various courses, workshops and professional education offerings. The SS will be a vital part of the Professional Education team and will attend department and client meetings, and provide research and insight into information technology and system issues. The SS will maintain and update the ProEd website and make changes as needed within the registration and learning management systems (Enrole and Canvas). The individual will be responsible to build and nurture relationships with attendees, vendors, business partners, and internal departments within ERAU. The role will be responsible to assist with recruitment efforts and will need to be creative with the development of marketing strategies and implementation. The role is well suited to an individual with an outgoing, creative, and problem-solver mindset with multi-tasking capabilities. Compensation The hourly range for this position isup to $21.00.
