DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for addressing inquiries from customers related to driver licensing and motor vehicle transactions, inclusive of managing calls from third-party customer advocates associated with the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Your role will involve analyzing detailed driver licensing and motor vehicle records to provide accurate responses to customer questions, as well as conducting examinations and data entry for driver licensing and motor vehicle applications. You will also research and assess discrepancies in driver licensing and vehicle records, determining the necessary actions to resolve complex issues. A solid understanding of the Crimes Code, Dangerous Drug Act, Judicial Code, Motor Vehicle Code, and the policies, procedures, and legal changes related to driver licensing and motor vehicles is essential within this role. Furthermore, you will engage in all aspects of driver licensing and vehicle registration processing, including maintenance and corrections. You will also oversee the management of fee waivers, reconcile the cash drawer, and address any outstanding discrepancies in compliance with established auditing standards. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
