Tesla Energy isseekinga Software Development Engineer to push the boundaries of firmware, software, and hardwarevalidation.You will lead the architecture and development of scalable, AI-driventestautomationthat continuouslyvalidatesourcutting-edgeenergy storagesystems, V2X, and solar products. By building robust CI/CD pipelines and intelligent analysis tools, you will acceleratetesting anddevelopmentcycles, ensuring our products meet the highestqualitystandards.
What You'll Do
- Developrobustautomatedfirmware/softwaretesting solutions using Python, ensuring high reliability and repeatability
- Design, implement, andmaintainscalable test automationframeworksthat supportcomplex hardware and software systems
- DevelopAI agentsthatautomate test generation, prioritization, refinement, and anomaly detection
- Drive AI-driven testing solutions by integrating next-gen automation tools tooptimizecoverage and efficiency and accelerate testing velocity
- Integrateautomation into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate withsystem integration, software, and firmwareengineers todevelop automated test scripts
- Perform firmware validation and regression testing on Energy Products
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering,or equivalent experience
- 5+ yearsofexperiencein test automationandhardware/softwarevalidation
- Strong understanding ofcore ML algorithms and emerging generative AItechnologies
- Hands-on experience in integratingAI/ML models into validation workflows
- Proficiencyin Python
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools
- Electrical engineering fundamentalswithhands-on experience withbasic EE tools (scopes, power supplies, electronic loads)
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able toidentifyand surface issues within complex hardware/software systems
- Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail

Expected Compensation
$120,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
