As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will complete routine patrols throughout the store, back-of-house areas, and parking lots, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you may support mobile patrols and respond quickly to calls for assistance. You will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and accurate reporting while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and store associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, parking lots, and along the perimeter to help to deter theft, loitering, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and receiving areas; observe for suspicious behavior and/or policy violations; and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, activity logs, and patrol check-ins, and communicate updates to the supervisor and/or client representative as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
