The Opportunity:

The Manager of Network is responsible for managing Network Data, Voice, Global conferencing, AV and Mattel TV Technology towers and maintain the hygiene of the environment and support teams 24x7/365 days to ensure the availability of our systems at 99.99%+ up time. The candidate must have hands on experience working with outsourcing partners. The Network Manager should be excellent in troubleshooting of operational systems, performs continuous analysis of Network throughput and capacity, device monitoring and device availability and provides solutions working with all the groups impacted. Responsible for ensuring client/operational satisfaction through the execution of timely delivery of GTO Operational Services.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Production Support

  • The manager should be able to come in to office and assist any major Network implementations, projects, maintenances and work on critical issues at onsite location.
  • As a Manager of Network Operations the person should have a good hands-on experience in managing both Network data and Voice technology requirements and 5 plus years of managing Technology teams with excellent customer handling skills
  • Excellent experience in networks with Routers, switches, WiFi, Cabling, SIP, IP IVR, IP Telephony, Voice Gateways, Circuit, Carrier management, unified messaging, F5, AV, Mattel TV, Zoom/ MS Teams, Global conferencing, Cisco room kits, Zoom room kits, call route and call logging technologies
  • Excellent experience in managing partners that spread across multiple geo locations
  • Excellent experience in managing all the Site network across the globe
  • Should be able to travel different locations within US and Outside US on need basis
  • Work with vendors and 3rd party providers and manage global conferencing, Mattel TV and AV
  • Excellent experience in managing collaboration suite for Mattel global
  • Conduct training for new product enrollment and create SOP's
  • Facilitating workshops and/or forums to promote Change Management initiatives and/or review overall performance and effectiveness of the change process and make recommendations for improvements
  • Attend daily CAB meetings and assist with review and approval of change requests.
  • Audit Aging Change Report and Weekly Emergency Change Report and work with appropriate GTO Tower leads to ensure all Change Requests are closed within change windows and/or timely manner
  • Perform periodic reviews of the circuits, uplinks and switches, routers.
  • Perform a Quarterly performance review of the devices and work closely with Capacity team to ensure the throughput is addressed proactively
  • Manage and govern the life cycle of Network Incidents, Network changes and make sure only authorized changes are implemented on production environments
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual Network SOX audit controls are submitted, reviewed, issues/remediations (if any) are resolved and approved per assigned completion date.
  • Lead the team on proactive problem management and reactive problem management
  • Ensure all changes resulting on P1/P2 incident are reported, tracked and RCA documented and reviewed
  • Conduct reviews with partners and review service levels on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for Strage and Compute areas
  • Work closely with partners and participate in governance meetings and build a strong partnership

Partner Management

  • Manages delivery of IT Operations by collaborating and driving the outsourced partner to successful delivery of contractual obligations with predefined SLA

Projects

  • Provides input to initiation and analysis activities including Project Charter development, Cost Benefit Analysis, Request for Information and Request for Proposals
  • Manages small projects as assigned, including timeline, scope, resources, risk, quality and customer expectations.
  • Ensures all enterprise and Operations infrastructure standards are followed

Relationship Management

  • Participates in discussions between IT and the business unit regarding current and anticipated service requirements and alternative approaches
  • Maintains strong relationships with customers
  • Assists with the education of customers about current IT trends and technology

Administration

  • Communicates plans, status and issues on a regular basis to executive management.
  • Plans and evaluates the work of technical and other support staff.
  • Audits and approves staff work reflected on invoices and timecards.

Departmental Requirements

  • Available for all critical outages by driving the team to service restoration

Security Requirements

  • Review all the security protocols and vulnerabilities and lead the team to fix them reactive/ proactive fashion and keep Mattel's network infrastructure a safe environment

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years' experience in IT automation and integration roles
  • BS degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent experience in networks with Routers, switches, WiFi, F5, Cabling, SIP, IP IVR, IP Telephony, Voice Gateways, Circuit, Carrier management, unified messaging, AV, Mattel TV, Zoom/ Team, Global conferencing, Cisco room kits, Zoom room kits, call route and call logging technologies
  • Excellent experience in managing partners that spread across multiple geo locations
  • Excellent experience in managing all the Site network across the globe
  • Should be able to travel different locations within US (International Travel is optional)
  • Work with vendors and 3rd party providers and manage global conferencing, Mattel TV and AV
  • Excellent experience in managing collaboration suite for Mattel global
  • Collaboration tool administration skills a plus. (Exchange, SharePoint, Confluence, TEAMS, Slack, Agile Central, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas to business users and other teams.
  • Familiarity with ITIL
  • Excellent Communication (written as well) Skills
  • Self-driven individual with good project management skills
  • Solid understanding of large-scale applications, network architectures, monitoring and fault management.
  • Must have experience developing application dashboards utilizing the AppDynamics monitoring tool, Quantum.
  • Experience with budgeting for Operations products, services, and support.
  • Experience managing co-location relationships with heavy emphasis on Outsourcing relationships
  • Skilled in examining and re-engineering IT operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of computerized business and operating systems.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports for Executive Management
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
  • Ability to provide and drive data collection needs for various annual Corporate Audits: SOX, PCI, etc.
