We are looking for someone who can handle a fast-paced and high-volume environment; someone who is organized, an effective communicator, and able to juggle several tasks. Our Legal Support Supervisor supervises a group of legal secretaries and other clerical staff and also provides case management support services to our attorneys. We Require
Five years of experience in a legal setting with knowledge in legal preparations or legal proceedings High school diploma or GED Post-secondary education may substitute for up to two years of the experience requirement

Supervise a staff of legal secretaries, records processors, and other clerical staff, including monitoring, documenting, and evaluating performance, training, assessing skill level, workload, and providing adequate support staff coverage through responsible scheduling Coordinate case files and calendars, file documents, and prepare court calendars for attorneys Provide administrative and records support for assigned group Resolve process concerns by assessing assignments/issues and adjusting priorities in accordance with departmental goals Process a variety of documents, correspondence, forms, files and/or other confidential materials Maintain records, manuals, documents, calendars, and schedules of activities, meetings and various events Handle the day-to-day scheduling of employee breaks, work periods, and coverage of work Complete various activity reports or other special projects
Working Conditions
Mostly office setting in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with frequent stressful situations. It requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities May require the ability to lift boxes, floor to waist,up to 25 pounds and carry, push, or pull a distance of 15 feet
