Our Nashville, TN location is seeking a Business Valuation Associate. Come and see for yourself! Primary Responsibilities
  • Interacts with clients and helps them understand the value of their business or assets.
  • Gains experience on a variety of valuation assignments including complex securities, impairment testing and purchase price allocation.
  • Works on diverse assignments including economic damages, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and white-collar crime defense teams.
  • Collaborates with valuation project team members and other CLA service lines.
  • Analyzes financial statements and complex excel modeling.
  • Grows valuation skills and experience through hands on training, client interaction and mentoring to follow your inspired career.
  • Researches industry and economic trends.
Minimum Requirements
  • 2 years of related experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (combination of education, training, and experience may be considered a degree equivalent)
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
  • ABV, ASA, CVA, or related certification preferred
