Department OverviewThe Command Center Software Support Services organization is the team that supports our public safety agencies throughout the world. We are committed to providing services for our customers who use MSI products; allowing them to focus on their mission and enable them to respond faster. Our field teams are focused on providing services and administration of various public safety software products such as 9-1-1 Call Handling, Real-Time Crime Center, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings. Job DescriptionCandidates must reside in the Atlanta, GA or Tampa, FL Area. This is not a remote opportunity. We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our Emergency Management IT team. The candidate will be working closely with System Administrators of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS) in a local government public safety environment. This 16-week immersive program offers a unique vantage point into the "nervous system" of public safety. You will gain experience in the full life cycle of emergency data-from the moment a 911 call hits the (CAD) system to its long-term storage and analysis in the (RMS). Detailed Technical Focus 1. Mentorship & Growth This program is designed for Knowledge Sharing. You will be paired with a Senior System Administrator who will provide supervised practical work, allowing you to move from observation to independent troubleshooting. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers Target Base Hourly Salary Range: $21.80 - $23.80 Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
