Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Benefits Analyst to join our Benefits team. This role will support core benefits administration responsibilities, including Open Enrollment execution, day-to-day plan administration, employee inquiries, compliance activities, data analysis, and vendor relationship management. This role will additionally provide support for mergers and acquisitions, including assistance with integrations to facilitate a seamless transition for affected employees.

Key Responsibilities: Open Enrollment & Employee Experience
  • Deliver onsite Open Enrollment meetings and lead system testing and validation.

  • Provide responsive, real-time employee support across Eastern and Central time zones.

  • Develop and distribute clear, complaint, and engaging communications (guides, FAQs, newsletters, required notices).

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to identify trends and strengthen employee education strategies.

  • Resolve escalated employee and retiree inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.

Vendor & Partner Leadership
  • Lead meetings with external vendors across the benefits portfolio.

  • Oversee the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) portal and ensure operational integrity.

  • Travel as needed to support onsite HR and vendor collaboration.

Compliance & Regulatory Support
  • Maintain working knowledge of reporting requirements (ACA, RxDC, CMS, Section 125, 401(k)).

  • Monitor regulatory changes and support audit readiness and corrective actions.

  • Partner with HR and Legal to manage ADA accommodations and related compliance matters.

Data, Reporting & Financial Oversight
  • Validate deduction files, payroll feeds, and vendor reports; resolve discrepancies.

  • Conduct audits across retirement, HSA, enrollment, and payroll integrations.

  • Analyze utilization, cost, and performance metrics to drive informed recommendations.

  • Prepare routine and ad hoc reporting for Finance, HR Leadership, and key stakeholders.

Training & Continuous Improvement
  • Deliver training to HR and employees on benefits processes and programs.

  • Streamline workflows and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and employee satisfaction.

  • Support annual initiatives including renewals, new program launches, and integration activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Benefits, including:

    • Self-funded medical/dental/vision programs

    • 401(k) plan administration and compliance

    • Federal, state, and local leave laws

    • ACA administration and reporting

  • Experience with third-party benefits administration vendors.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex data/reporting issues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on employee experience.

  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required

  • Bachelor's degree is required; an Associate's degree combined with 3 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's.

Preferred Experience:
  • Workday HRIS system. Union benefits administration.

Pay Range:

$77,157.00-$89,413.00
