Job Description We are looking for an innovative leader with broad experience in digital technology and engineering project delivery to join our enthusiastic, ambitious, and growingDigital Services Team.Our team provides industry-leading digital delivery support to high-profile infrastructure engineering projectsand we do this by combining our digitalexpertisewith engineering domain knowledge and project delivery experience. About the role: Your mandate is to lead the application of digital technologies on major projectsacross our North American region You will engage with senior project leadership and clients to understand project delivery challenges and toidentifycorresponding business requirements for digital delivery workstreams (information management, BIM, GIS, business intelligence, automation, etc.) You willwork with Business Development leads and our clients tocontribute to proposals and lead planning for digital delivery workstreamson our major pursuits You willsupport resource managers to build capacity and capability to enhance our ability to support a wider range of projectsandgrow the next generation of digital delivery leaders. This includescoaching,mentoringand guidingseveral ofour digital leads currently managing the execution of digital workstreams. You will alsoparticipatein the leadership of theDigital Services teams. This includes: Engaging with other team and discipline leads toidentifyand develop opportunities for digital delivery workstreams on projectsacross the unit. Collaborating with colleagues inotherMott MacDonald practicesand across the North American Digital Delivery Network to advance strategic initiatives and to build our digital excellence culture. This will include problem solving and ad-hoc peer reviews, you should be comfortable quickly gaining context and understanding of a project to be able to offer insight,experienceand solutions tooptimizeour working methods. This role is based in Mott MacDonald's downtown New York office. We offer a hybrid work environment with flexible hours to balance work demands and life responsibilities. Regular travel is expected which accounts to approximately 50% of time in a Mott MacDonald or client facing location. Candidate Specification Minimum 10 years' experience. Relevant degree in engineering or architecture, or technical diploma. Intuitive understanding of digital technology, its capabilities and limitations, and applications to engineering project delivery. Able toidentifyinnovative solutions that respond to organizational goals and strategies. Strong project delivery skills with relevant experience in the engineering industry. Expert in defining project end deliverables andidentifyingopportunities to generate value. Strong communicationskills. Able to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersand work closely with clients to develop project and program digital visions. Strong leadership skills. Able to challenge current practices. Can engage diverse range of stakeholders on a compelling idea to get buy-in Strong management skills. Able to supervise and coordinate the work of technical specialists. Able to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Able to manage operational matters including resourcing, skillutilizationand support recruitment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in conducting business analysis to understand processes and requirements. Able to streamline workflows, automate processes, and standardize outputs Strong teamplayer, able to work effectively and inclusively with hybrid and remote teams Expertisein one or more digital technical disciplines (information management, BIM, GIS, data analytics, automation, etc.) Experience working with Common Data Environments (CDE) such as ProjectWise and BIM 360, SharePoint, Aconex, etc. Strong knowledge of international standards such as ISO19650 and BS1192/PAS1192 Service oriented; passionate about providing quality service to clients both internal and external. Willingness to support andultimately ownclient relationships Confident to work autonomously. Ability to work in a fluid, unstructured environment with a can-do,positiveand pro-active attitude and seeing initiatives through to the end. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
