As a Security Guard - Residential Patrol Team in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential apartment communities, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and provide exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with residents and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the residential community.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents and guests with inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by the situation at the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and reports for Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
