The purpose of the Research Coordinator position is to help the UCR Perception, Action, and Development Lab (PADLAB) carry out projects for Dr. Franchak's NSF-funded grant to investigate infants' everyday experiences. The projects involve collecting data from families with young infants in the Riverside County area through surveys and home visits. The Research Coordinator would schedule study appointments, collect data from human subjects through surveys and home visits, organize data and other files relating to the research project, and contribute to data analysis. This is an initial one-year appointment with the option for renewal pending available funding, need, and successful performance. This is a part-time position working a 70% appointment.
The full salary range for the Research Coordinator is $23.22 - $27.35 per hour. However, the expected pay for this position is $25.00 - $25.51 per hour (to be prorated by appointment FTE). We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Effective 7/6/2025 minimum pay for TX unit staff is $25 per hour. Base pay on steps below this minimum will be increased with a second "off-step" pay to bring the total to $25 per hour. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. | |
