As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting security-related operations for a government location. Your responsibilities will include coordinating communications, monitoring activities, and assisting with incident response to help to deter potential security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, contributing to a positive environment while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and respond to radio and telephone communications, dispatching security personnel as needed according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate logs of all incoming calls, dispatched personnel, and incidents in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist in controlling access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points through electronic systems and/or physical observation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to relay information and instructions.
• Support regular and random patrols by coordinating deployment of security personnel around the business and perimeter as needed, based on site directives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
