Job Description




As a Security Officer - Commercial Dispatch Specialist in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor alarm panels, manage access control systems, and coordinate security-related communications to help to deter incidents. You will play a key role in supporting operations and providing excellent customer service, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage access control systems, communications, and alarms from the dispatch station within a commercial real estate location.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain communication with security personnel on patrol and provide support or direction as required.
  • Assist with the implementation of emergency response protocols and communicate important information to relevant parties during incidents.
  • Support regular and random patrols by maintaining awareness of personnel locations and activity throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
