Inventory Specialist Charleston, SC Pay from: $25/hr MUST : Experienced Inventory Specialist Must be eligible for Public Trust clearance 2+ years of professional experience working in logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations or supply chain support Experience working with electronic inventory tools : Scanners, barcode systems and/or GIPs Able to lift and move items up to 50lbs Solid communication skills both written and verbal Good customer service skills Strong attention to details High School Diploma or GED College education is a plus DUTIES : Perform daily cycle counts, reconciliations, and documentation in GIP and other systems Document all transactions and support audits, quality inspections, and corrective action Maintain proper inventory levels for medical/surgical supplies, non-sterile items, instruments, and expendable materials Perform daily cycle counts, reconciliations, and documentation in GIP and other systems Monitor expiration dates, stock rotation, temperature-controlled items, and storage compliance Ensure accurate barcoding, scanning, labeling, and transaction integrity Coordinate receiving, unpacking, and verification of inbound materials Support distribution of supplies to all logistics-serviced clinical and administrative departments Respond to emergency/STAT requests with accuracy and urgency Maintain compliance with logistics policies, aseptic procedures, and storage standards Collaborate with Supply Technicians, Logistics Service, clinical staff, and leadership to address supply shortages, overages, and inefficiencies Generate reports, usage analytics, and inventory reconciliation summaries Responsible for producing several recurring reports and logs to verify performance, including Daily Delivery Logs and Inventory Count Sheets, expired Item Removal Reports and Stock Discrepancy Reports, Specialty Cart Checklists and Area Cleaning Logs Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
