Title of Position: Director of Marketing Operations Position overview: As a Director of Marketing Operations, you are responsible for the oversight and management of the teams responsible for the organization's communications to members which are centered around the products/services/events that benefit their financial well-being and the credit union's balance sheet. You will manage the execution of internal corporate communications channels, programs, and systems to ensure cohesive internal communications are delivered to employees. Marketing project management and partnership with leaders, support departments, and other stakeholders to ensure successful communications are being delivered to members and employees are also key functions of this role. Position Type: Full-Time. Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM. Compensation Range: $135,000/yr. -$175,000/yr.*Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills* Location: Position is on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Endwell, NY. Hybrid opportunity may be available. Responsibilities/Duties:
- Approve, provide insight, and offer creative direction on all member facing marketing campaigns, promotions, and related collateral.
- Create and maintain a flexible schedule of member communications for campaigns, promotions, member surveys, and events to support the financial needs of the organization, its members, and our communities.
- Collaborate with advertising agency of record for consistency of brand alignment on external and member-facing marketing campaigns and related collateral in English and Spanish.
- Ensure all marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives are closely aligned with the organization's overall strategic objectives, supporting both short-term goals and long-term vision.
- Provide marketing support and expertise to internal partners for communicating with members and communities about products, services, events, etc.
- Collaborate with Project Management on new marketing projects and serve on project teams that are working to achieve the strategic, regulatory, and immediate needs of the organization.
- Identify appropriate messaging and communication channels to assist internal partners with instituting, or standing down, products, services, and delivery channels.
- Review and approve member-facing and all-staff communications for clarity, tone, accuracy, call to action, and marketing regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for regular monitoring, annual review, and implementation of Internal Communications Policy and adherence thereof.
- Develop and lead the implementation of the internal communications strategy for the organization, including key messaging, communication channels, and clear, consistent, alignment with mission, inclusion statement, and values.
- Stay up-to-date on internal communications technology to include the latest tools, technology, and digital platforms to provide the best methods for effective internal communication.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications, establish key performance indicators and benchmarks, set goals, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
- * Provide leadership and guidance to the broader communications team, ensuring that all internal communications are aligned with external communications and marketing efforts.
- Monitor and measure member-facing marketing campaign success by combining channel performance data with product/behavior adoption to determine effectiveness of campaigns and creative.
- Maintain working knowledge of advertising compliance, regulatory obligations, and internal/external resources available to ensure accuracy of marketing campaigns and collateral.
- Regularly review marketing analytics and campaign data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Review and approve assigned marketing budget expenditures and allocate to approved budgetary line items for tracking.
- Manage and optimize third-party marketing vendor relationships to deliver high-quality, cost-effective marketing communications that drive member growth and minimize operating expenses.
- Develop, counsel, motivate, and engage members of your team to help them achieve and fulfill their responsibilities while positively impacting the organization and community.
- Participate with local, regional, or national trade and marketing associations to give back to our industry and stay informed of current marketing trends and best practices.
- Speak to internal and external stakeholders, Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, media partners, trade associations, and others as needed to represent the Visions brand.
- Provide departmental back-up coverage as needed.
- Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or Communications with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Experience collaborating with advertising agency partners and service vendors.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or Communications.
- 8-10 years marketing experience with a multi-billion dollar financial institution.
- 10+ years marketing experience in any industry.
