About the role

As a Software Test Analyst, you'll play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.

About the team

Our team is composed of talented Software Developers & Quality Engineers who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality software solutions that support key banking and financial operations. We focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient systems that meet the evolving needs of our clients and internal stakeholders

What you will be doing

  • Performing functional testing and communicating activities and findings.

  • Develops, maintains and upgradesmanual or automated test scripts, test cases, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.

  • Providing internal quality assurance.

  • Create test plans based on user stories and unit testing provided by the developer.

  • Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms (including daily stand-up meetings, iteration and system demonstrations, and the project management application (Jira)).

  • Controls and manages own daily test activities.

  • Provides internal quality assurance.

  • Supports product owner to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.

  • Organizes and maintains the test script repository.

  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you will need

  • Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing.

  • Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.

  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
