About the Role We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Packaging to join our team at our West Columbia, South Carolina bakery. As an Operator 1, you will support the packaging process by operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment that aligns with our manufacturing standards. Shift & Schedule * Shift: 1st * Hours: 4:00am-12:30pm * Weekend Availability: Required Compensation * Hourly Rate: $17.50 Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) * Operate and adjust packaging equipment to maintain accurate and consistent product specifications * Ensure food products meet established quality, safety, and appearance standards * Package products manually or using automated machinery to meet production targets * Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in alignment with GMP and safety requirements * Monitor equipment performance and communicate issues to production, maintenance, and quality teams * Support a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with coworkers * Follow assigned production schedules and running orders to meet shift goals Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) * Must be at least 18 years of age * Ability to read, write, and perform basic math * Ability to work in a fastpaced and frequently changing production environment * Ability to function as a contributing member of a team * Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (with or without assistance) * Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift * Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud environments * Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) * High school diploma or equivalent * Computer literacy * Experience working in food manufacturing * Experience operating production or packaging equipment Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
