SUMMARY OF JOB
Performs work involving the development, analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation of application
systems. Focuses on delivering assigned development tasks and basic workows on time and to scope.
Provides rst-line application and technical support for Authority hardware and software, collaborating
closely with the IT team and internal divisions. The Software Developer interacts with all divisions within the
Authority to assist in support of enterprise applications and provides application and technical solutions and
assistance for technology support, improvement and advancement of the Authority. An Associate
degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or Computer Science, or two (2)
or more years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned or scheduled.

Development & Coding:
* Develops, creates, deploys, and updates functional programs and applications.
* Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code that provides best performance within
deadlines.
* Develops assigned tasks and automated workows using applications such as MSSQL, Oracle
SQL, Laserche and SharePoint as core platforms.

Analysis & Testing:
* Gathers requirements and translates client needs into application features.
* Performs IT unit testing and integration testing.
* Evaluates existing applications for enhancements and modications.

Support & Operations:
* Troubleshoots and debugs applications.
* Installs, upgrades, maintains, and troubleshoots software applications.
* Provides rst-line user support on hardware, operating software, and enterprise applications.
* Writes and updates maintenance and user documentation to support programs.
* Provides setup and support for computer equipment, office, and cell phones.
* Assists in maintaining computer equipment inventory.

Reporting:
* Develops basic reports or extracts les using data sources such as T-SQL in Microsoft SQL
Management Studio, Oracle SQL or Microsoft SQL Reporting Services platform (SSRS).
* Accurately document programming and code changes.

SUMMARY OF JOB
Performs technical work involving the research, analysis, development, troubleshooting, and
implementation of moderately complex application systems with increased autonomy and complexity
compared to the entry-level role. The Software Developer II contributes to design discussions and
consults with those performing the actual design work to ensure technical feasibility. This position is
responsible for driving specific project components with minimal supervision, managing multiple
concurrent tasks, and maintaining a high degree of technical mastery in the Authority's core platforms.
Provides advanced application and technical support for Authority hardware and software, serving as
an escalation point for issues beyond entry-level support. Collaborates closely with the IT team and
internal divisions to enhance, integrate, and optimize enterprise applications. Contributes to system
improvements and process efficiencies and may provide guidance or mentoring to Software Developer
I staff in support of Authority-wide business needs. An Associate degree from an accredited college or

autonomy, and specialized application expertise.

Development & Coding:
* Develops, creates, deploys, and updates functional programs and applications that meet
established Authority standards.
* Consults with senior developers and architects during the development process to align coding
efforts with high-level system designs.
* Writes high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code that provides best performance within
defined deadlines.
* Independently develops moderately complex tasks, integrations, and automated workflows
using platforms such as MSSQL, Oracle SQL, Laserfiche, SharePoint, and related enterprise
systems.
* Modifies existing software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.

Analysis & Testing:
* Contributes to architectural decisions and design discussions by providing technical input based
on project requirements.
* Works with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into clear, actionable
application features.
* Responsible for comprehensive testing of developed code, including IT unit, module, function,
user acceptance and integration testing to ensure zero-defect delivery.

The Senior Software Developer is responsible for performing highly complex technical work, driving the
delivery of challenging application systems, and ensuring technical rigor across projects. This position
handles the most difficult technical execution, provides advanced troubleshooting, and serves as an
informal technical resource for less experienced developers. The Senior Software Developer is responsible
for handling assigned technical components of projects independently, contributing to architectural and

complexity, and responsibility:

Advanced Development & Technical Mastery:
