JOB SUMMARY

Operates forklift to move, load, and unload materialand palletsthroughout the facility..

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply withWestlakeSafety Policies
• Regular attendance,timeliness,and scheduling flexibility
• Operate forklift within the safetyguidelines.
• Unload incoming materialand palletsby placing it in the properarea.
• Regulate shipping documentsaccordingly.
• Verify counts andmaintainloadsheets.
• Understand quality standards, equipment, and manufacturingprocesses.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,AND ABILITIES

• Ability touse simple math and readtape measureaccurately.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentpreferred.
• Prior forklift experiencepreferred.
• Forklift certification

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Prolongsitting.

• Complete repetitive movements such as typing.

• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels thatmaybeuncomfortable.

• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing,vision,and hardhat protection) when inplant.

• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs orladders.

• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmentalconditions.
