Job Description

The Carpenter is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment.



Responsibilities

    Maintain (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis.
  • Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
  • Clean all work areas after completing job.
  • Fill out Daily Work form.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
  • Property Capital improvements
  • Maintain all public areas and guestrooms on an on-going basis (corner guards, locks, windows, doors, furniture.)
  • Complete Work requests in Synergy daily.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Answer all guest and associate related Synergy requests
  • Assist with Capital improvement projects.
  • Property improvement projects


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Structured schedules offered, with availability to be on call after hours
  • Fulltime, part time, and on call positions available
