The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 130,800.00 USD - 171,675.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. ABOUT THE ROLE

SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands is looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Target business across key categories for Method and Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Target, driving sales growth, building strategic plans, and strengthening a highly valued customer partnership. You'll oversee forecasting, promotional planning, item setup, and ongoing business performance, using data and insights to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and accelerate category growth.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Category Insights to ensure seamless execution and alignment to customer priorities. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to influence teams in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Partner Management

  • Develop strong partnerships with Target decision makers cross-functionally and spanning levels

  • Own assortment, pricing & promotion and schematic suggestions leveraging knowledge in brand advantages, competitive weaknesses and category roles

  • Achieve off-shelf display support, highlighting priority items, while working within the allotted budget

Forecasting + Planning

  • Lead development of forecasts by item / by week, utilizing information from POS and order data analysis, coupled with business intelligence including promotions, assortment updates, competitive activity and growth objectives

  • Develop annual shipment plan [internal] and joint business plan [external] with known growth and stretch upsides

  • Own trade management across brands for key categories, working to drive growth balanced within trade budget

  • Work with Target planning team to manage optimal inventory levels for new launches, seasonal items, and off-shelf programs

Data Analysis + Sales Presentations

  • Analyze syndicated and account specific data to determine key business trends and actionable recommendations for business opportunities

  • Develop effective presentations that outline current market conditions, category trends, customer needs, consumer insights and our competitive advantages

  • Incorporate the 4Ps for a full 360 approach to business management

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in CPG sales, including 2+ years leading the business with Target or a major strategic retail customer and delivering strong results

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Home Cleaning OR Personal Care Sales Experience

  • Target JBP negotiation and financial planning experience

  • General Management mindset; proven ownership approach to business

  • Ability to work independently to identify business needs and opportunities to grow sales

  • Ability to both think strategically and act as a diplomatic, detail-oriented tactician

  • Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful, strategic business decisions and provide clear and consistent direction

  • Excellent presentation skills and a colorful storyteller

  • Strong technical skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Web, CoPilot, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills. Solid experience in analyzing data & reporting platforms (PowerBi, Circana and Target POL)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday

  • Remote office work environment: Minneapolis, MN area

  • Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period

  • Domestic relocation is not available for this role
