Shipping and Receiving Technician

The Shipping and Receiving Technician manages the flow of goods, receiving incoming deliveries, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and organizing warehouse storage.

NOTE: This position requires the candidate to be onsite 5x/week. We are only considering local candidates at this time

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving of inventory, verification of correct items received against purchase order, inspection of inventory for damage or discrepancies.
• Picking, packing and shipment of inventory.
• Prepare and distribute shipment paperwork as required with adherence to all applicable guidelines.
• Communicate with Customer Service and Production as necessary to maintain appropriate inventory levels keeping accurate and updated logs.
• Coordinate shipments to and from storage warehouse(s).
• Organize and maintain warehouse space(s)
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma/GED required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Must be detail oriented, highly accurate, conscientious and able to work independently, dynamic and possess strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Positive attitude and willingness to serve our internal and external customers.

The target base salary range for this position will range from $44,000 to $56,000 annually.Individual compensation for this job requisition will be based on non-discriminatory factors, including your geographic location, skills, experience, education and other factors as they relate to the position requirements. Actual compensation may vary depending on the confirmed job-related skills and experience.

In addition to the expected base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in Sirtex's incentive programs (target bonus of 5% for this position)and benefit plans, which include paid sick and vacation time, health insurance and a generous 401k matching program.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergo all formal Training Events as may be directed from time-to-time.
• Observe and comply with all Sirtex Corporate Policies.
• Work within, and ensure adherence to Quality System procedures, work instructions and other Quality System requirements.
