A Brief Overview

Communicates with agents and business units about our products and services using video conferencing, telephone, recording training, social media, and other communication tools. Finds and adds new agents where necessary. Tracks and reports on agent performance. May provide data analytics and work to survey agents and customers for detailed analysis to guide communications.

What will you do?

  • AGENT RELATIONS: Acts as marketing representative for assigned agencies. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining/fostering agency relationships with assigned agents. Using phone, email, and video conferencing, contacts agents regarding product opportunities, product changes and enhancements, how to transact business with Company, and request documents and update records. Distributes regular agent communication regarding product changes and enhancements. Responds to incoming emails from agents regarding competitors, coverage forms, pricing, and other items that may come in. Reviews underwriting files as necessary and consults with underwriters to understand decisions made.
  • AGENT RECRUITMENT: Participates in appointing new agency partners by preparing lists, calling prospects, and reviewing inbound leads. Calls prospective agencies to identify characteristics and determine their viability as an appointed agent. Prepares Company appointment application and supplies information to Agency Compliance & Licensing unit to prepare new agency contract. Obtains necessary agency licensing and producer information required for Company appointment process.
  • AGENT PERFORMANCE: Completes and updates reports regarding agency calls, individual agency submission activity and product binds. Documents agency visits in marketing software.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA: Regularly monitors company Social Media pages and suggests content to management. Posts content om social media and Company Website with appropriate approval. May act as an administrator on Social Media pages. May interact in a professional manner with internal and external customers using social media. Compiles social media and Internet presence analytics and makes recommendations on how to improve Company follower counts and rankings.
  • AGENT TRAINING: May create and host small and large webinars for retail agents. Trains newly appointed agents on how to transact business with the Company, use rating software, and frequently asked questions. Responsible for more specialized product line training for agents.
  • EVENTS AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS: Supports BHHC's convention presence through maintaining a calendar of events and ordering swag and promotional products.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience
