Your Job Are you an experienced engineer passionate about automotive innovation and skilled in planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation? Molex, a global leader in interconnect solutions, is seeking a Resident Engineer to join us. This individual will split their time between GM's Warren Tech Center and the Rochester Hills Molex facility. In this role, you will support the development of next-generation connected mobility and high-speed automotive connectors-from concept through production-ensuring signal integrity, mechanical compliance, and manufacturability. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize advanced CAD tools, lead technical reviews, and apply root-cause analysis to solve complex challenges and drive continuous improvement. As the key technical interface between Molex and GM, you'll play a critical role in connector design, validation, launch, and production support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with GM engineering and quality systems and a strong technical background in automotive connectors and interconnect solutions.
