Logistics Operator

1. Maintain a flow of materials through production operations
2. Package glass in proper containers verifying product with packing slip
3. Involve nailing, banding, weighing, labeling, and transporting to and from plant areas or to a storage or drop area
4. Load, unload, and deliver materials received or shipped to designated locations
5. Check receivers
6. Fill designated orders for shipment by pulling glass from storage and drop areas
7. Maintain inventory of stored items by location and performs monthly inventory cycle counts
8. Operate moving, lifting, and tiering equipment to load, unload, and warehouse material to pull designated orders from storage for shipment
9. Prepare outgoing shipments and forwards paperwork to billing/ shipping coordinator
10. Scan and check orders into Lower Warehouse
11. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness within work areas
12. Implement 5S plus safety principles within work areas
13. Build crates or special packaging as needed
14. Sort and deliver UPS and FedEx deliveries
15. Locate glass and other material into inventory when necessary

Other duties as assigned

• Must have previous stand-up forklift/Raymond experience.
• 1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment
• Must have your high school diploma/GED

This position is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement. Starting rate is $25.56 and includes 6 month progression increases up to 18 months.
